Preschool Ministry
The Nursery is provided for newborns through 2 year-olds during both Sunday School and Worship services on Sunday mornings. Our Nursery is staffed by adult church members. Each child in our Nursery is assigned a number. If you are needed during the service, your child's number code will flash on the screen. Your child will keep that same number code until he/she graduates to the Preschool class. For the safety of our children, parents need to personally drop off and pick up children from the Nursery on Sunday mornings.
Our Preschool program offers Sunday School classes, Children's Church, and Mission Friends for children aged 2 through Kindergarten. Sunday School classes take place from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. For the safety of our children, we ask that parents walk your child to the classroom.
Children's Church is a Preschool alternative to the Adult Worship service by providing child-friendly lessons, activities, and snacks each Sunday morning from 10:00 - 11:00.
Mission Friends classes are Wednesday nights during Adult Prayer Meeting at 7:00PM.

Lakeview Baptist Preschool began in September of 1988. We now offer 6 classes for 2, 3, and 4 year-old children. There are two classes for each age group with a teacher and assistant. We believe the teacher, environment, and activities that take place play an important part in giving each child a good self-image. Our goal is to have each child enjoy learning about him or herself and God's world. While our children have fun learning, they are also academically prepared to enter Kindergarten.Classes are from 9:00AM to 12:00Noon
Two Year-Olds Tuesday and Thursday (8:2 Child/Adult Ratio)
Three Year-Olds Tuesday and Thursday (12:2 Child/Adult Ratio)
Four Year-Olds Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (12:2 Child/ Adult Ratio)
Children are placed in classes based on their age in August.
