Proposed Events for Kindred Hearts Ministry in 2015
Below are some of the comments from the Women's 2015 Retreat at Camp Caraway: Hopefully this will encourage more to go next year! Also, there are pictures of the retreat activities found in the Photo Gallery of this website.
"I love the practical steps Zoe gave to live dangerously. This has been a much needed weekend with awesome women. Thank you!"
"I loved the fellowship with the other women and the girl time. I realized I am not alone and other women face the same challenges I do and that I need to take time out for me."
" I learned to make sure all I do proves that I'm a "Jesus Girl" so people will see Him in all I do."
"Zoe was awesome! She is an amazing woman of God and I loved spending time with the ladies."
"Even if circumstances never change, I will still trust and honor the Lord and I need to remember that all that God is never changes...He always will take care of me and my family."
" Zoe is great! God moved me to pray more and preach less and to continue to be faithful in my prayers and study of the Bible."
"Hold on, I got this." illustration : "I need to hold on and allow God to take control."
"Zoe did an amazing job! I loved hearing her stories and the messages she shared. The time and fellowship and fun was great! I hadn't had an experience like this with the Lakeview women yet, so that was amazing."

Kindred Hearts Card Ministry
The Kindred Hearts ladies are having a card ministry where we get together and make cards that we mail out to people of the church or to whomever a card needs to be sent. If you would like to join in this ministry you can contact Bitsy Scott or Lynn Carey. Not only are we making something useful but we are enjoying a wonderful time of fellowship at the same time. For times that they meet please contact Bitsy or Lynn.
Kindred Hearts Gift Baskets
The Kindred Hearts continues to do gift baskets for the shut ins and for those who have been sick or had deaths in their families, etc. Here is a chance for you to help in this ministry. We need donated items so that we can continue making the baskets. We will have a container in the lobby for you to place items such as toiletries, notepads, pens, lotions, individually wrapped snacks (ex: crackers, candy, etc.) anything small to fit in a basket. We would greatly appreciate the donations. If you have any questions, contact Denise Broome or Linda Hagler.
